Bursaries and scholarships

RECTOR’S SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE BEST STUDENTS - PLN 100-900/month
-awarded to the best students in terms of academic performance who have scientific or artistic achievements or exceptional sport results in international or national competitions. The Rector's scholarships for the best students are also awarded to part-time students.

BURSARIES - PLN 30-780 / month
-awarded to students in a difficult financial situation. The basis for awarding the bursary is the amount of monthly net income per person in the family - currently it must not be higher than PLN 780 net. The average amount of the bursary is about PLN 400.

HOUSING ALLOWANCE
Full-time students in a difficult financial situation who are eligible to receive financial support may receive a bursary increased by PLN 200 for living in a dormitory or any place other than the dormitory if daily commuting from the place of permanent residence to the University would significantly hinder their studying.

EMERGENCY ALLOWANCE - up to PLN 1000 awarded on a single occasion -awarded to students eligible to receive financial support who are in a temporary difficult financial situation due to any ill-fated reasons. Such events include death of a family member, birth of a child, illness, accident, etc. The grants are awarded independently of other scholarships/bursaries. A student may receive the allowance only twice per academic year.


SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS


WHO:
Scholarship Program of the Government of the Republic of Poland under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland
WHAT: Exemption from tuition fees. Scholarship from which accommodation and living costs are paid - PLN 1250 / month
FOR WHOM: For students from Belarus who do not have the opportunity to study in their country because of their political views.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: 15.05.2020
