Maritime University of Szczecin is a state university established 70 years ago. There are more than 2500 students in our university – 15% of them are foreigners and they represent 20 countries.

All our seagoing programmes are 100% compliant with STCW (The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers). On graduation and having completed 12 months of sea-time you will receive the Officer of the Watch or Engineer Officer of the Watch rank.

Programmes delivered in English

Navigation (BSc) sea-going

  • Duration: 4 years
  • Deadline for application: July 16, 2021
  • Tuition fee per year: approx. EUR 2800 for non EU citizens  and EUR 520 for EU citizens

Mechanical Engineering (BSc) sea-going

  • Duration: 4 years
  • Deadline for application: July 16, 2021
  • Tuition fee per year: approx. EUR 2800 for non EU citizens and EUR 520 for EU citizens

  • Duration: 1,5 years
  • Deadline for application: March 21, 2022
  • Tuition fee per year: approx. EUR 2350 for non EU citizens and EUR 475 for EU citizens

How to apply?

Our application procedure for programmes delivered in English language is very simple:

  1. In the first step you must check what documents are required from candidates. To do so, please visit our website: answer 6 simple questions and get your tailor-made list of required documents.
  2. In the second step you will have to complete the online application form in our recruitment system.
  3. In the last step you will have to pay the admission fee of PLN 85 = approx. EUR 20.
